The Spanish Heart Band in Europe!

Hi all!

If there was any doubt in your mind that the infectious spirit and musicianship of Antidote wouldn’t quite translate to a live performance, then allow me to put those doubts to rest. Because no matter the venue or setting, the Spanish Heart Band’s concerts on this European summer tour have been undeniable hits.

Be it at a modern concert hall in Budapest or at a “Roman theatre” style venue at the venerated Jazz à Vienne festival in Vienne, France; at an intimate lakeside casino theater on Lac d’Enghien, or in a mainstage tent that was figuratively “brought down” by thousands of energized fans at the Love Supreme Festival in Glynde, UK (a clip of which you can see here)—the result has been unmistakable: crowds are loving it.

And the second week of the tour has been no exception. Starting off in Germany at the Jazzopen Stuttgart Festival, Chick and co. shook the parapets of the castle they were playing in and had fans uniformly grinning ear to ear by the end of the night.

Then up in the Swiss alps, the band played in St. Moritz at the Dracula Club. The venue, as its name suggests, may have been vampire-themed but the music did anything but drain the life from its listeners!

Finally, the Spanish Heart Band took the stage at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Montreux, Switzerland and played a 2.5 hour set to a crowd that erupted in applause when Chick asked if it would be fine if they were to “go a little long.”

Still more to come from the road on this exciting Spanish Heart Band tour!

Regards,

Jordin + the Chick road crew
